Religious Hypocrisy

Lord God is my savior

or atleast I was told so

he created us in his image

he loved us most

but from the tree of knowledge we can't eat?

with much to suffer in this world of temptation

with only him is where our happiness lies?

why is it that only rewards and acknowledgement

come from our struggles and injustices?

the be faithful every second of our lives

but while we only have a belief based on hearsay and magic?

foolishness has come to my conclusion

this is my religious hypocrisy

to be and go through what every Christian is supposed to

but w/o knowing its understanding or it's importance

what is the point in that?

I have been told what to believe my whole life

so where's the line between my religion and my brainwashing?
